YOU’RE MY GOD

This song started out as a poem, and the melody came from a self-made lullabye to one of the composer’s nephews. The judges described the song as having the “balance” of being a simple and adventurous song, sincere, and a specimen for song writing students because of the use of a technique in song writing called “repetition.” “By winning in this competition, it feels like God accepted my praises to Him. It is my love song for God” the song’s composer said.
